He definitely could've gonne way further without his injuries, but the move to PSG seemed to me like the way he found to become the protagonist. And he did, though it was only at national grounds, since UCL was never achieved.
Hope he finds joy at Santos again, but I doubt he will ever regain the relevance he had while at Barça

The move to PSG didn't help, you would want a player of his quality to spend his whole career at a top 4 league in my opinion.
