I sincerely hope the event flops, even as an American that loves football and wants my country to love it.

FIFA have to learn the limits of ticket prices and scheduling, although they’re so money hungry I doubt they will learn. Everyone should stay away from this sham competition at all costs.

They should have gone for more appropriate venues in terms of size but still excellent in terms of quality. Though I know FIFA does love their "capacity requirements". Plus, they started off the prices so laughingly high that people are just like...this is a clear money grab I'd rather watch this at my local watering hole, if at all.

Then there's the fact that the Gold Cup is going on and while that may not seem like a big deal, it does take away from supporters especially of sides from the Americas. This is on FIFA for over saturating a market that while it does love the game, we also do have a capacity for stimulation and a limit on spending.

Maybe FIFA does a better job moving forward with marketing and reading the room.

Lol who am I kidding. I know who I am dealing with.

If you think 79° F, which was the high in Los Angeles yesterday is searing heat you are in for a ride awakening 🤣. That is a cool summer day in most of America. Also attendance for most of the games have been pretty good though the first weekend so relax.

It’s not that hot but it is hot for football. Attendances overall not too bad, although prices have also been massively cut. I’m relaxed.
