No. Greed/a ridiculously overloaded schedule is hurting an entire generation of stars;

re; anyone from Manchester City from their treble winning side. Esp Rodri and KDB.

I'm afraid we've seen the last of their best.

Anywho Infantino is extremely greedy and is ruining the sport. We need less matches overall and a focus on bedding in academy talents on first team sides. Looking at you Barclaycard Premiership!!!!

No, we don’t, I am nostalgic with Intercontinental cup who was competitive till the end. European cup winners and Libertadores cup winners could compete equally. Boca Jrs could beat AC Milan and Real Madrid of Galacticos. Nothing was taken for granted. They literally ruined a comptetition who was working well, because of money. Since 2005 onwards, club level world cup became a farce!

Do we need a 32-team club World Cup? TL;DR - No…

I don’t believe that a club that wins MLS Cup can be the sole representative for the United States in international club football.

The club that represents the USSF should be determined through Division 1 regular season play.

In the event Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal were to win the Supporters Shield, since they’re not eligible to represent the USSF, you’d go further down the Supporters Shield table and give the spot to the best US-based team in MLS.

It’s not all that different from Australia. The “regular season champions” in the A-League are known as the Premiers, and I believe that achievement ranks higher in the eyes of the Asian Football Confederation than the A-League grand final (play-offs), as far as Champions League spots go. Also, Wellington Phoenix, even if they were Premiers, can’t represent Australia in international club football, and would have to give up the spot.

Also, if the spot were to be given to the MLS Cup winners, what would happen if two clubs ineligible to represent the USSF in international club football met in the finals?
