Thanks for another great article Ben. Will we get to know more when this matter goes to court? I am sure there would be some sort of anti-corruption laws in Spain or EU that cover sporting events.
Thanks for your comment. There is a lot more to come in this case, with information emerging every day (some true, some speculation). Barcelona have been charged with corruption, but that does not necessarily mean they bought referees. Still much to be explained and Laporta is a lawyer himself, so I imagine that is why he has kept reasonably quiet on the details so far. I'm sure I'll write about it again as the story develops...
